Like most other jobs, you have to initially send off a cover letter. Once this was approved I was invited into their offices in Egham for the first round stage. This consisted of four 1 hour interviews back to back with. One was with a recruiter who asked competency and role based questions, one was a roleplay interview (in which the goal was to get the CTO of a company to attend a BMC event) and two were with senior members of BMC which where closer to a conversation than an interview. After passing this round as well, I was invited back for the next stage, which was a simple 15 minute presentation on ANY topic I chose. These were presented throughout the assessment day with roughly 20 other candidates. In my opinion, the best presentations were ones that were not industry or sales based, but rather about topics that interviewees were passionate about (one was even about Running!). I passed this round as well and was invited back for a final round with a regional director. The final round was a 1-on-1, and involved a lot of competency based questions.

First of all do not apply for this company. They are unporessional and back stabbing people. After I signed contract for the program in june and I laid back and enjoyed my summer holiday because the job was starting in October. After I got my permissions and even i found a place in London, these guys just said that, "Hey, by corporate decision from our global headquarters we just closed the program. Not only you but everyone is fired." Basically I spent my whole May in London just for the interviews. The total time of the interview was around 15 hours. I went through 2 different interview sets which were 6 and 8 hours. There was intense 1 hour interview (which was the hardest interview I have ever had), I signed the contract plan my life according that I will start my job in October but one day they just call and fire all of us. This is how valuable you are for the company. You are just a number that they can erase really quickly. Then I have to start finding job again in September which is really hard because all the companies hire during late spring and summer. So BASICALLY DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS COMPANY. Last interview with the VP is tough but rest is pretty easy. Actually it was a process where you can really learn things. It took 5 months in total, but after you pass the screening (internal not an interview) they let you know by may and if you succeed you get the offer by late june. First day was 5 hours of 5 different interview. 1. Writing and essay (put value and importance of customer relationship, they give you a question but i suggest you to emphasize these) 2. Mock phone interview (In here you try to reach a ceo. Its hard to get by, I manage to get it though. Even if you cannot do it even if you fail, know where you fail. Say that I failed here because I lost his attention etc etc.) 3. HR lady (She asks you why sales, why this company, do you have what it takes etc etc. She kinda puts pressure on you. I like it it was nice) 4. Interview with one country manager (He explained me how things work. We actually had too much in common even we had friends in common. It was a nice relaxed chat. We talked about food, software stuff, IT things and geeky objects) 5. Doing a group work (In here you get grouped by people and do a lego man. Man build by legos. Its important to put how good you are to work with people and how collaborative you are in group work). If you pass this you get to do a presentation. Its like 15 minutes but you have to sit there for whole 8 hours and ask meaningful nice questions (of course if you want to get noticed by hr and hired) It was piece of cake. I am sure that my presentation was great. Everybody loved it. Chose an interesting topic. Dont talk about tennis players or how Google Adwords work. Talk about the photos that changed the world or dunno like How was the traditional medicine was in ancient china. I mean they gave 1. Emperor of Qin Dynasty so much mercury as a potion of eternal life that he died in a very bad way. See im sure you are gonna google it because it is interesting. After you pass this you talk with the VP. This is the hardest part. I will write down at the interview questions part of what he asked. Ask for his feedback in the end and learn the name of CEO. It is important. Also take notes during the interview and let him know that you are taking notes. Say stuff like `` True meritocracy, hyper accelerated career path things like that when he asks why BMC`` Why am i doing this? Seriously do not apply. These people are fooling you and fooling with your dreams. My 6 months in total went to trash because these guys decided to invest in their extreme low performance inside sales team in dublin instead of rising new sales champions. Thats why just my one day they screwed with our careers. Think twice before you make any more. And by the tips I gave you it would be super easy to get inside this company.
