I applied via a job board website for a permanent position in an IT consultancy. BE-IT is a preferred recruitment supplier to the consultancy. The first consultant I spoke too was very thorough in getting to know me, however left the organization that week but had passed my details on to a colleague who picked up my application and moved it forward. I had several phone calls to understand my skills, history, future aspirations and motives. As a result we agreed the kind of role that would be suitable and she pitched me to her client very successfully. I was given an incredible amount of support and guidance by the consultant before meeting her client. I took the advice on board and when I met with the client was really well prepared and progressed through 2 of a 4 interview process. I felt very positive about both the client knowing who I was before I got there and my aspirations and about the role I was applying for and where in the organization that role sat. I removed myself from the process as I was offered a role with another company. As a recruiter I can't speak highly enough of BE-IT and when my contract ends, I will definitely reach out to them again.
