Generic and dull. Questions were read off a sheet of paper. They seemed more interested in it being over than what my answers were. The recruiter was unprofessional & rude. She told me that I would have to write up a list of reasons I should be allowed to negotiate my salary. She then said it was highly unlikely that they’d entertain negotiations for my job level. I have been there for 7 years and this role was in the same department doing very similar work. It was a demeaning, experience, that left me feeling worthless. I declined her offer of my exact current salary.

The interview process went smoothly. The recruiter mentioned that she wanted to provide the salary details upfront to ensure it aligned with my expectations before moving forward. She emphasized that this was to avoid wasting my time if it wasn’t a good fit.
