I had a good experience interviewing with BG Studio. They asked a lot of questions to get to know me and learn about my education and background. I was also asked design related questions.

Question 1
Do I have experience with cruise ship and yacht design
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 6 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez B G Studio Intl (New York, NY) en mai 2013
Entretien
I interviewed several times. Each interview involved at least one partner and sometimes both partners and senior staff. I was asked to submit a lot of portfolio material. I was told they were working on an offer letter but it never materialized. I'm not sure if it was really important or if the onslaught of incoming projects they had assured me was on the way had not materialized. They then began to steer the conversation toward me being a freelancer, which I wasn't interested in. After six months we stopped communicating. All in all I would say it was the least professional hiring/recruiting I had ever experienced.

Question 1
Eventually one of the partners became more and more focussed on a specific skill that I had said would take me some time (maybe six months) to acquire. The farther the process went the more they became focussed on this. I was very upfront about my limitations (but willingness to learn) but I began to feel like their harping on it was a way of shifting the responsibility of the process not working onto me.
