J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Axon

      Entretien

This was for a position in Scottsdale. I live in Phoenix, about 20 minutes away. Step 1 was a phone interview with a developer on the team. Questions were about my experience, and were very vague. I asked for clarification only to pretty much have the questions repeated, so I did the best I could. After that they told me I had nailed the phone interview and had made the determination to fly me up to Seattle. I asked if it made more sense for me to just make the 20-minute drive to HQ to talk more first, but they passed. Flew me up and spent from 9:30 to 4 talking to different department heads. Questions were mostly high level, and all went very positively. I had prepared pretty well, and brought examples and bullet points for ideas. They commended my preparation, and many of my ideas matched what they had in mind. Some of the interviewers admitted that their role had little to do with the one I was interviewing for. When 4 PM came, the person I was talking to at the time checked his watch, said thanks for coming in, and showed me the door. After 6 1/2 hours of interviewing no one mentioned any follow-up or how they felt about things. This was on a Friday. The following week I was told someone on the team was out-of-town, so I wouldn't be hearing any feedback until next week. The Tuesday after that (11 days after I interviewed) I got an email saying they had reviewed my application and they weren't going to move forward with the process. Hardly any mention of the fact that I had flown up to their Seattle office and interviewed for an entire day. I sent a follow-up email thanking them for their time, and asking what lead to their decision. I felt that after committing such time and effort to an interview process that had seemed to go well at every turn, I deserved to know why they were passing on me. No reply, and I haven't heard from them since.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

How would you build the nav (after asking for clarification: "Just, you know, how would you build it")? Lots of the questions were about experience, and what ideas I had for the site.
