I had heard only good things about this organisation so I was excited just to get an interview. I considered myself fortunate because I am looking for a job after two years of break. I was out of station when HR got in touch with me so they waited for like a week to arrange my interview at their office. HR arranged a convenient timing for me and asked me like a million times if I was comfortable waiting for 10-15mins and requested me to have coffee. Just a person was passing by in the office and saw me waiting. I didn't even have the interview with him but he insisted I should have coffee or tea while waiting in the cafeteria. After meeting three persons that day, one of the HRs insisted that I can book and wait for my cab there. I don't need to step out immediately. I was surprised, you don't hear that often. I was excited to work with such kind people.
HR seemed warm hearted and interview was going good until she asked me if I plan to have a baby soon. Another HR asked if its just me and my husband or do my in-laws also live with us.
Rest of the questions were related to my job profile and my strengths and weaknesses.
Account director asked me to send across a social media campaign plan for one of their brands.
2 assignments and 2 rounds of interviews later with total of 5 interviewers, I was informed that everything seems good. All positive opinions but I haven't heard a word from them since 1.5 months now. HR very conveniently ignored the message on watsapp. I know HRs are busy and have a million things to do and its crazy to expect them to respond to every single person. But if someone gone through a rigorous process of interviews and long assignments, one simple message saying you haven't been selected will give them closure.
