Entretien
First contact with the business manager (by skype), then with a talent acquisition officer (first face to face), a third with an associate director and the last one with the responsible of contract the same day that with the associate director in face to face). I had to go to their offices 2 times and I would had to go a third time just to receive the growth salary (Because I already receive all the details of the package before). This company bet on his atmosphere to attract workers but it is not competitive at all for the salary regarding the current market for lifesciences consultant. In addition to that, there is no place for negociations : all is already defined (both salary and package). If you want to go in a non-competitive atmosphere where everybody of the same experience and education earn the same salary regardless the field of consulting, this firm is perfect for you. If you are a competitor, resultats-oriented who want a better raise if you meet your yearly objectives : run away.

Online microsoft teams gesprek. Standaard vragen zoals stel jezelf voor of naar wat voor functie ben je op zoek. De persoon die mij interviewde was nogal ongeinteresseerd wegens een gebrek aan functies binnen het domein waarvoor ik solliciteerde. Beter om dit op voorhand te laten weten in de plaats van de tijd van ons beide te verspillen

Entretien
Recruiter contacted me through linkedin. I mentioned that I was applying elsewhere but was open to listen to the company structure and possible opportunities. During a first acquaintance with the Business manager, it soon became apparent that they found me an interesting profile.
During the following weeks I was called several times by the Life Sciences Director, HR Director and Business Manager questioning my motivation to work for them as I was applying elsewhere. I would then receive absurd recruitment questions about signing contracts with other companies, why I didn't say anything to my family about Avertim, etc. Then I was asked if I wanted to relocate since there would suddenly be no more projects in my region.
Overall, I got the feeling of no trust. the whole process was more about their competitor than about their own company. This also gave me the feeling that I would also get less challenging projects as I would be a liability.
After the last calls with the same questions about irrelevant things, I decided to stop the application.
