AutoX really believes in phone screening. This was the third day and the fourth person I was talking to on the phone.
The first three people were pleasure to talk to, we actually had very memorable and informative conversations. The last interviewer had a very heavy and dense Asian accent, I couldn't understand what he was asking.
It didn't work well with this last interviewer. I had to ask again and again to repeat what he was saying. I admit, I have a bad ear for accents, and just don't understand them as easily as others do. I probably sometimes also sound annoyed when this happens.
I was left with a feeling that it didn't go well, and in 2 days I got the rejection e-mail from them, that I am not a good match.
I guess, one has to understand foreign accents well in order to work in AutoX. This alone disqualified me, I can't think of anything else.
