I had seen a posted on Craigslist and applied VIA email. My first interview was on the Phone with what would've been my Direct Supervisor/Director. My second interview was in Person with my Direct Director and the Director of IT. I received a phone call with an offer, as well as an email explaining as much. I gave a counter offer, and they accepted. All this transpired within maybe a 2-week window. Interviews were standard, and negotiations were quick and agreeable.
