      Entretien

      1 introductory interview took place and lasted for 5 mins. The call was with 2 co-founders who asked for my reasons for switching and compensation expectations. The interview ended quickly as the founders were not able to find "conviction" in my words.

      As an interviewee, I had an extremely disappointing experience during the interview process with this particular company. The co-founders who conducted the interview were not only unethical, but they also lacked the skills to conduct a successful interview. Although the interview was scheduled by the company’s HR, I found myself being interviewed by two co-founders who started off by asking generic questions about my reasons for switching jobs and salary expectations. Despite my attempts to showcase my skills and experience, the co-founders seemed disinterested and unengaged. Moreover, when I asked some questions, I was met with dismissive responses that made me feel like I was wasting their time. To make matters worse, the co-founders even questioned my credentials as a data scientist, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I believe that conducting an interview is an art that requires skill and tact, and unfortunately, the co-founders of this company seemed to lack those qualities. Instead of motivating and encouraging candidates, they seemed to be more interested in demoralizing and criticizing them. It's sad to see that such a toxic work culture is being fostered by the co-founders of this company, and I feel bad for the employees who have to work under such conditions. To add insult to injury, the co-founders promised to provide feedback after the interview, but they never followed up or provided any kind of communication. As someone who is new to the corporate world and has talked to over 20 founders, I can say with confidence that my experience with these co-founders was by far the worst. I felt a lot of negativity and toxicity during the interview, and it's a shame that such behavior is allowed to exist in the professional world.
