After I arrived at the place, my interviewer asked me to introduce myself, and she was with a paper, writing things down as I spoke. Then she asked me some questions about London, and my previous experiences working for the hospitality sector. Why do I want this job etc. The next step of the interview is that she demonstrated how to serve and take away the plates, and I had to do it too. Then we went back to the table and talked for a little bit more.

It was very laid back and simple, I got the impression that they just wanted to make sure that I had basic communication skills and was polite and friendly. The interview was followed by a few hours of an assessment day - they taught us the basics and we had to practice.
