It was a group interview with five other people and one of the strangest interview experiences I've ever encountered. Basically all the interview consisted of was the office manager asking everyone to interpret random quotes by famous businesspeople. All the while the CEO who never said a word or even introduced himself took notes in the corner. After we got through the quotes we did a short writing assignment and that was that- no personal interaction at all. And surprisingly this is not simply the first step in a longer interview process but rather the whole interview process for this company. I was offered the position a day or two after and they wanted me to start the following week (which was not a problem for me, but seemed odd).
