The Interview Process has started on 22nd February 2017. I got a call from HR on Feb 22 and discussed about the role. After several follow-ups, the HR has called saying that my resume has been short-listed. Firstly, she was not clear about the interview process. She has mentioned that first there will be HR Round and then followed by Technical Round. HR mentioned that I would be receiving an email to attend the Face to Face HR round. I haven’t received any email. Again I had to follow up through emails and then finally, I called the HR. Over the call, she has mentioned that they have decided to take the Technical round and then followed by HR round. Here, it’s understood that HR was not clear about the rounds or the interview process. Then again, I had to drop several emails about the interview date. Finally, she responded saying the interview will be on 14th March 2017 with US Tax Manager.
Questions during the Technical Round:
1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Do you have any experience on BAM?
3. Will you do only Quality Review work or do you actually work on the projects?
No other technical questions were asked during the Technical Round. After several emails and follow-ups, the HR has replied on 31st March 2017, Sorry..! Actually we offered another candidate for Transfer Pricing.! Will share you if any other opportunity.
They themselves are not clear; my question here is why do you want to waste the candidate’s time? Is it just because they are eagerly searching for opportunity? One thing, I want to make clear, yes, we are looking out for jobs, but whoever is looking out for jobs, have not resigned from previous organisation. Don’t play with the people’s time.
HR kindly take some time to provide timely feedback and before calling the candidate, please be aware of the interview process.
