After applying for the position, I received an email to say that I had landed an interview. The interview consisted of two parts: a group activity and a the actual interview itself. The group activity was based around a work winning scenario and involved about 4 other applicants with several Arup engineers on the call, assessing us as we tackled various challenges. The actual interview was conducted by two senior Arup engineers. As part of the preparation for the interview, I had to answer a series of technical electrical questions and create a short presentation. In the interveiw I presented my solutions, with follow up questions from my interviewers. All in all, a good experience.

The interviews were friendly and really nice. Overall, the entire interview process was fairly straight forward and nothing too difficult. The case study was also a really good one that tests your ability to critically think and link the solutions of the study to the company’s ethos.
