Quick call with a recruiter, take home test for job I initially applied for, call with C-level who thought I was overqualified for the role I applied for and wanted me to do another take home test for the ‘next position up’. I was not 100% successful at that project because it was not geared as much toward my experience and interest which I stated in my response when it was completed. I was prompt about working on it and sending back my solution. I was told I’d meet with someone else on the development team. That never got scheduled and then I got a call out of the blue from another recruiter telling me I didn’t get either job. Such a waste of time for me to do both tests and then not get offered either role, even the one that I was ‘overqualified’ for.

Four brisk interviews, 30 minutes each, with representatives from different departments of the company. Need to come fully prepared -- 30 minutes is not much time to sell yourself. Core values are evaluated as well as technical competency. Questions are challenging but fair.
