I interviewed at Aristotle's DC office with approximately 2 different hiring managers approximately 3 weeks ago. With my own money, I took a transportation service to get there. The location itself is in some renovated townhouse. For what it's worth, when I was there I saw 3 or 4 mice traps. So it would seem they have or have had a rodent problem. They asked me very run-of-the-mill interview questions about my background and experience, what technology I'm currently working with etc. I was given very short notice after my initial phone screen to come in and interview and given the details less than 48 hours before my interview. The HR recruiter/manager clearly isn't on her game. It's been nearly a month and I have heard no concrete feedback. I even sent supporting documents to further legitimize my candidacy. Employers simply do not care about the time, money, and effort it that people put forth to arrive and prepare for these interviews. To just not respond is really unprofessional and reflects very poorly on the company. I still have not received an e-mail or any notification of rejection.

Typical interview process: Phone interview with the hiring manger to review basic qualifications for the position, in-person interview to determine cultural fit and additional technical qualification type questions. Aristotle's HR manager started the in-person interviews by detailing the basic benefits, compensation, and company culture. I was not provided a handout with all the information, so I took notes on as much as I could. I was impressed with the detail the HR team provided on benefits but would have liked some literature to review post-interview. From there, spoke with the hiring manager to go over additional technical qualifying questions and to determine cultural fit. Last interview was with a VP overseeing the department and repeated qualifications and focused on the business aspects of the department.
