J'ai passé un entretien chez Arista Networks (Bengaluru)
Entretien
it was on coderpad and was asked to write everything including driver code.
It was on linkedlist and tree mostly, followed by pointer questions. It was just the first round which focussed on data structures and algorithm rather than just operating system concepts. Interviewer was chill
They did not specify how many questions I needed to complete. (I asked, and was told it depends on me.) I was told to use vim for coding. Based on my past experience, most virtual assessments usually require solving 2–3 questions. With this in mind, I managed my time accordingly.
I completed 3 questions within the final assessment and still had about 10 minutes left. However, the interviewer commented that I was too slow and said I was going to fail. I suggested that, since time remained, he could give me another question to try, but he replied that it was meaningless and that I was not suitable for Arista’s work environment.
During the interview, the interviewer was frequently distracted, working on something else and checking his phone, which came across as unprofessional.
