Had a total of 3 interviews. 1st was with HR 2 tech interviews (2 interviewers per interview) 1 last interview with HR (to discuss offer) Prior to the process commencing a min. and max. expected base was discussed, further stating that this range was set and expectation with HR also communicated, confirming not to conduct any interviews if the budgeted salary was out of this range. Fast forward after all the interviews an offer was made below the min. range listed. Some advice/feedback for HR is to be transparent with a candidate upfront; prior to the process commencing if there is an agreement and discussion on a range, but that range cannot be met it is best not to start the process as time is important to everyone involved.
