I recently appeared for the Technical Consultant role at Apty, conducted through NxtWave’s hiring process.
The process began with an online assessment consisting of logical and technical MCQs, along with two coding questions. Based on the performance in this round, shortlisted candidates were invited to attend the offline drive.
The offline drive conducted by NxtWave included three rounds — Group Discussion, English Communication Test, and another Online Assessment with aptitude, technical questions, and two coding challenges. The results from these rounds were used to shortlist candidates for company interviews.
After clearing the offline rounds, I received an email to attend the final interviews at Apty’s office. The final process had two main rounds — a Technical Interview, which I cleared successfully, and a Cultural Fit Interview, where I was unfortunately not selected. There was also a CEO discussion for the candidates who cleared all stages.
Overall, it was a great learning experience. The process helped me understand how technical consulting roles require a balance of technical knowledge, problem-solving, and strong communication skills. Even though I didn’t make it through the final round, it was a valuable experience that improved my confidence for future interviews.
