      Entretien

      They requested me to send a short video to tell about my professional experience, the AppsFlyer's product and what would have made me a strong addition to the SDR Team. I had a phone call with an HR representative that asked me about salary expectations. I moved forward to a 1:1 interview with the hiring manager, which I genuinely enjoyed. I was given a home assignment (quite challenging but enjoyable) and conducted a presentation followed by a role play with three managers/directors part of the Sales team. I met the Head of Talent for the HR interview (the manager was the nicest one can ever imagine). I was invited to the final interview with the General Manager. A couple of days later, I was told my last interview was not successful because I had not enough technical experience for the role and my business examples were old. Now I accept the feedback but first, I do not quite understand why I was contacted for an interview in the first place and why I was considered successful for 3 interviews out of 4, if my technical experience was not enough. Second, I honestly find it unfair to be judged if my last full-time job ended one year and a half ago. Since then, I took a six months break (during which I completed a 4-month Digital Marketing apprenticeship). I got a full-time job in a hotel and I was furloughed due to the pandemic a month later and I am looking for a job since then while investing in my education and working as a freelance BDM.

      Entretien

      I got approached in linkedin for the opportunity and was contacted via email for initial interview with the recruiter. After that I was asked to answer some preliminary questions via email and then i was proceed to interview with the hiring manager. During this stage, I was assigned to prepare a ppt to showcase 3 potential clients on my territory and present it on the next interview. I was also told to prepare for a mock sales call with a fellow salesperson from appsflyer. After the presentation and mock sales call, I went to two more executive level interviews; one with the sales director and one with the asia GM.

      The overall process took a little over a month. 1. Phone interview with head of HR 2. Phone interview with Director of Sales 3. Came to the office and was interviewed by 3 Account Executives 4. Phone interview with the VP 5. Phone interview with another Director of Sales 6. Phone interview with the General Manager of the US offices 7. Reference Checks 8. Final call and offer
