Applied for a role supporting 1 VP and 3 Sr. Directors on the MAD Team. Recruiter reached out for a phone screen. She was nice but not really that personable. Moved forward to an interview via Webex with a Lead Admin on the MAD Team and it was an extremely poor experience. She had this aura and attitude about her as if Apple is the best company on this earth and candidates should be thankful for even having the chance to apply let alone interview. Her attitude and energy was completely off-putting. Of the entire 30 minutes, she literally asked me one question, which was tell me about yourself and your experience and why you applied. After that she said okay, do you have any questions for me? We literally spent the last 20-25 minutes of me just asking questions. She literally did not ask me more than just that one question. This was an extremely disappointing experience from beginning to end as Apple is THE one company I've always wanted to work at. Overall, glad it didn't work out. She's definitely not someone I'd want to work with everyday.

Good respose time from the recruiting team, fairly quick moving process from application to first and second interview. The job spec I was given and what the Exec expected from the role were wildy different.

I was interviewing for an assistant position with Apple TV+. The recruiter was one of the worse I've spoken to. Normally a recruiter is positive and encouraging, even if they don't think you are right for the job. This recruiter never seemed to nod or smile or give me anything to work off of. They asked a couple of questions related to the job, and while they should have been open ended questions it felt like the recruiter treated them all as yes/no type questions, in that when I shared my opinion on shows I like watching they judged my answers as either right or wrong. In the end, they told me they were looking for someone who was currently working in a similar position, and while I had done this type of job before apparently I wasn't good enough unless I was currently in a certain place or time. Overall it was a very frustrating and almost demoralizing interview. I have known multiple people working at Apple TV+ who are lovely people, but unfortunately this recruiter was the one exception, and made me question if I even wanted the job if I had to deal with personalities like theirs.
