I started at Aon as an intern in the sales department in which I had to review the National Sales on a granular level. Following this internship I was offered a job in Aon's graduate department in which I got the opportunity to pursue my ACII and broaden my insurance knowledge. My experience with Aon has been a good one and gave me the opportunity to experience various cultures and travel to numerous clients across the globe

From the talk with the recruiter to the interview to post-interview, I found the whole interview process unprofessional. The recruiter was rude and it is true that the recruiter is usually the first impression of a company. They knew my salary requirements and asked me for an interview, so I was excited to finally talk about the role and my experience. I was more than qualified for the senior broker role having been a broker for nearly 7 years. They ended up hiring someone with no broker experience - and this was a senior role! That decision told me a lot about the company's management and that it probably worked out for the best that I didn't get the job.
