I interviewed in November 2024 with Anthropic. I heard back pretty quickly after applying. The process consisted of a video screening with a recruiter followed by two interviews with different members of the team. The interviews went well, everyone was friendly, and the team seemed like a solid group, My issue was with the recruiter who had a hands off approach. I had to chase for an update on my application status, as I was seemingly forgotten about. At no point during the three week process did the recruiter touch base, which is the norm with recruiters at other organizations. When I finally heard back, I received a generic rejection email that gave odd feedback alluding to the fact I wasn't chosen due to a cultural fit. Which is fine, however, it seemed obvious they had already hired someone else prior to my final interview.
