J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Anduril (Costa Mesa, CA) en mars 2023
Entretien
First is a phone screen with an internal recruiter. Second is a zoom meeting with a member of the team, usually a lead engineer who will serve as your manager should you be hired. Third, they'll fly you to HQ for a presentation of some of your engineering accomplishments and several back to back interviews with other leading members of the team (it was presentation then four interviews in my case). Then the final decision is made.
Overall the interview process is fine and treats candidates with some level of respect. The back to back interviews however is rough (mine was scheduled from 11 to 3 so plan to not have lunch at a conventional time.

Question 1
If you were to design an inverted pendulum system (rigid arm), would you prefer a longer moment arm or a shorter moment arm for ease of control?
The process began with Engineering manager going through challenges of the role and trying to intimidate applicants. Ultimately he was more interested in that than find out my qualifications. The interview process continues with multiple stages of interviews and possible a trip out to California. Ultimately a 3 month onboarding process in California is required to be familiar with the equipment.

(1) Phone call with recruiter, (2) Call with hiring manager, (3) Onsite panel: presentation and 4 separate 30 min interviews. Onsite interview were mostly white board technical problems... basic ME dynamics, structures, materials, GD&T etc.
First a screening with the hiring manager. Then an onsite presentation and interviews with individual team members. The overall experience was positive and gave a good opportunity to understand the company and its culture. I would recommend interviewing there.
