J'ai passé un entretien chez Andela
Entretien
I got into Andela after going through a two-week bootcamp/interview process. However, that process has long been replaced by another process that I don't quite know the details of. Most probably a regular "aptitude test plus build an application" process.

Question 1
There were many types of questions. Technical questions, behavioural question, team collaboration questions etc. The bootcamp lasted 2 weeks so there was ample time to ask many questions.
The process involved a personality test, a timed coding assessment in a language of your preference with about three questions, and a face-to-face interview with the recruiter.
I then had a technical interview.

Previous experience with the job I was applying for
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Andela en mai 2025
Entretien
I was reached out to by a recruiter. The whole process had 2 stages. The first one was an online test with single or multiple choice questions (these are often extremely ambiguous) and a tech task. Then you have a tech interview. The questions themselves were quite easy but there is another live coding challenge where you can't use an IDE or debugger. Failed live coding got an automated rejection email just in a few minutes. Do not recommend.

Question 1
What have you done at your current and previous projects. Have you designed a DB from scratch etc.
My interview with Andela was a great experience. The interviewers were professional and friendly, which made me feel comfortable throughout the process. They asked thoughtful questions that tested both my technical and problem-solving skills. I appreciated the structure of the interview—it was well-organized and gave me an opportunity to showcase my strengths. It also gave me a good sense of the company's culture and what they value in a candidate. Overall, it was both challenging and encouraging, and I left the interview feeling confident and motivated.
