(For summer internship.) Applied in late January, 3 weeks later in the middle of the night Sat. night/Sun. morning got an email to write a 1 page essay describing my background and why I'd be a great fit to be due by Monday at noon. Talk about short notice. Anyway, I did it, and I was really excited about the opportunity, but I never heard back. I tried contacting them about my status, but no response. Really disappointing. Seems I'm not the only one they ghosted. Oh well, I have a better opportunity lined up anyway.

The conversation went well and felt engaging. The candidate communicated ideas clearly, showed practical understanding of security concepts, and asked thoughtful questions. Overall, a positive interaction with strong potential for the role.

Entretien
I met with the hiring manager. Questions were asked around Java and overall background. Followed by meeting with the devs from actual team where I was asked about my background experience as well and technical questions. I was able to asks questions by the end of each interviews.

A Phone call with the recruiter, One round with an engineer and then an onsite (Series of zoom calls) with the team. Pretty straight forward and quick process. Asked a lot of technical questions and very specific questions about past experience, project complexity.
