      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Anaplan (Unknown) en mars 2019

      Entretien

      I received an email from a recruiter interested in setting up an interview within approximately 1 week of submitting my application. Encouraged, I provided multiple dates and times I would be available for either phone or in-person interview as the recruiter did not specify. There was an initial red flag in the slow response time from the recruiter when it came to confirming an agreed day and time, with the confirmation coming the morning of the interview for later that day after a couple of days of not hearing back. The interview process consisted of a short phone interview with the recruiter leading with "the manager doesn't think you're qualified for this job." Then the interviewer proceeded with telling me how great the company was and highlighting all the success they've had. This was unfortunate as I had done extensive research on the organization prior to apply and was looking forward to sharing my perception of the organization. By the inexperienced recruiter telling me "how the call was going to go", they missed an opportunity to gauge my genuine interest. After about 10 minutes, I was provided an opportunity to share my background with an opportunity highlight my skills related to the position. In response, the recruiter expressed that they felt they had a stronger understanding of how my background aligned with the position, but again stating the manager expressed initial reservations. After an abrupt interruption on their end resulting in being placed on hold for 30 or so seconds (it happens), it was evident the interviewer needed to end our call and hastily wrapped up our interview without providing an opportunity for me to ask a single question. In closing, the recruiter stated it was good we spoke because they were excited to share my information with the manager and anticipated scheduling an interview between the two of us. After 2 weeks, I received the email that they were proceeding with other candidates. While I'm certainly not disillusioned that there are other highly qualified candidates in the market and I may not have ultimately been the top candidate, the experience was overall highly disappointing, standing as one that will not have me considering Anaplan for future opportunities.
