5-6 rounds of 1 on 1 interviews. 30 mins each with people from different teams. General questions around the skillsets and projects in the past. Few interviewers were awesome and humble. One of the interviewer was very arrogant. I think it just depends on luck with whom you get to interview with. For example, I asked him what are his expectations from me in this particular role? And, his response was - “I don’t have any expectation from you since you don’t report to me”. There are other questions as well which he replied in a similar tone. And after 5 interview rounds they said I have less experience and cancelled the final round with hiring manager and told me they picked different candidate. I have not met the hiring manager in all this process! Fast forward two weeks the HR reached back to me low balling for the Senior associate role. And said the team thinks I would be good fit and they have an open position. I just didn’t feel it very straightforward.
