If you get a call for an interview for a management position, it's actually a first step in getting hired as a sales rep. That's where everyone starts. It involves a presentation to the group that lasts about an hour, telling about their company and their advancement system within the company. In filling out their final form after the presentation, I wrote that I'm not interested and that I was called to interview for a management position so this was a waste of my time.
