I had a screening call with the recruiter followed by an interview with the Head of Claims and finally a 2nd interview with the Head of Property. The interviews themselves were fine and communication was great initially
I felt positive after the second interview and left it a week or so before reaching out to the recruiter for an update to which no response was received. I had since tried to contact the recruiter on several occasions since then and each attempt has received no answer.
It is now 4 weeks later since my 2nd interview and it seems that this company has ‘ghosted’ me which is incredibly disappointing. For me, this speaks volumes about how this company values individuals and I would be wary of a company that treats candidates this way. If this is how they handle potential employees, I can only imagine how they treat their actual staff. A simple rejection with feedback at least would have shown basic professionalism and respect in my opinion.
