Had a technical interview where I was asked super vague questions on ML system design where it felt like the real task was to read the interviewers mind, then another interview where I was asked super specific questions on niche problems. Not once did I feel they were even interested in assessing my general ability or ableness to learn. Bad experience.

How would you assess how well a particular segmentation model is doing if the end-task is to use the segmentation masks as a feature in a prognostic model?
Initial call with the ML team, followed by another call and a software round. The experience was nice and positive, its a startup looking to expand their teams in all directions.

Had the first interview with the CEO, Felix. One hour and had a chat about the goal of the industry and my purpose of being an ML engineer. Not technical, questions were quite general.
