A recruiter had reach out to me on linked in to do an interview. She said she had gotten my information from another district manager. We spoke about an upcoming position opening up as a store manager. We had a really good conversation and I was excited to move forward. A week went by I didn’t hear anything from this recruiter or anyone from the company so I reach out to her. The recruiter didn’t respond to my linked in message nor my email. The next week I got request from two district manager for that company but still no one reached out. The position was still open. I am highly qualified for the position as I’ve ran several high volume stores! I have 6 years of management experience and 10 years of retail. I was ignored and not considered for the position because of the color of my skin. Not cool.
