      Entretien

This company is a scam. Part of a pyramid scheme. Beware! I tried to do research on Glassdoor and Indeed (before I started this review) but couldn't find anything related besides Facebook pictures of the staff looking like they have a great time together and I assumed it was because the company claims to be new and growing rapidly. This company recently changed their name to Nova Peaks which is why I couldn't find any information on them besides their website. I went to the first interview and got called back and was sent information regarding the second interview and I felt like it seemed ligit. That was until I went to my second interview. I met with two higher-ups that seemed to be professional with the interview. When they further explained the job description, pay rate, and hours things started to become suspicious(such as setting up stands at Best Buy and Walmart to get people to sign up with them). The paper explaining the hours which were (mon-fri 12 to 9 and sat 10-5) and pay was being written on by the interviewer and it was obvious he was using the same paper for each person he interviewed before me. At the end of my interview, I took the piece of paper (I don't think I was supposed to) because wanted to further look into the compensation structure that seemed too good to be true. After denying the job when they called me back hours after than they said they would, I looked closer at the paper. The top of the paper said Alta Marketing Detroit. I looked that up on Glassdoor and the answers poured out about previous company's reputation. This company is revolved around pyramid scheme. I'm a young, hardworking person who was about to be taken advantage of and I'm hoping this helps anyone else before it happens to them. Don't waste your time, energy, and enthusiasm...

      Question 1

What's the difference between direct and indirect marketing? Would you feel comfortable selling to people at Best Buy and Walmart at a Xfinity stand?
