Two stage interview. First was with an HR rep and the second was with the same HR rep plus the CEO. Interview questions were straight-forward. They seemed more interested in making sure someone was a culture fit.
A few days after the second interview I was offered the position. I told them I still had another interview to do the next day and wanted to do that first, which they were fine with.
The next day they sent me an offer letter requiring the contract be signed and sent back the same day, and said to let them know if I have any questions. I emailed them asking for them to extend the contract sign date until at least after the weekend. I also asked another couple questions about the schedule. They responded by immediately rescinding the offer after some "internal discussion" without replying. And they refused to communicate with me any further.
During the first interview they had also said a salary of $80,000 was "well within their range". During the second interview they said they would only offer $70,000. When making the offer they lowered it further to $65,000.
Very sketchy behaviour and multiple red flags from this company. I'm glad I found out this is how they treat people early. I clearly dodged a bullet by not working here.
