I was contacted with a job role they had assessed my LinkedIn profile for and thought I’d be a great fit.
It was promoted to me as a tight deadline and could I do a call same day. I agreed and replied within 5 minutes of receiving the email and said that I was free and asked when would be a suitable time to do a call.
I was then ghosted and completely ignored, I have followed up on 3 separate occasions and asked why reach out to me, and then ghost me.
I feel this unprofessional and rude behaviour from people that have no idea how this impacts a person looking for a role in order to put food on the table and pay bills, and how it demoralises people, making them feel worthless, undervalued and left wondering why.
I will keep their messages so if anyone ever contacts me again from their organisation ever again, I will know not to respond to them and ignore those messages. If anyone asks my opinion on them, or wants to know which recruitment company to trust, I will highlight that these people are avoided and not to use them.
