Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez AlertMedia (Austin, TX)
Entretien
I had a great experience with the interview process. It is a pretty typical 3 stage process, phone call with a recruiter, followed by a technical phone call, followed by an onsite with about 5 panels.
All of these stages were treated more like discussions than grueling whiteboard or coding challenge marathons. I prefer this style of interview since it allows you to get a better read on the people, environment, and process at a company.
The onsite consisted of:
- 2-3 panels with about 5 engineers and test engineers where you walk them through some code you have written in the past (or a take home exercise in lieu of not having projects to show) and explain the problems you were trying to solve and why you made the choices you did, with some general technical discussion mixed in.
- A panel with a few product managers that is more focused on soft skills like process, how you work with people and across teams and business units.
- A brief chat with the CTO.
My end impression was that it would be a great place to work and grow a career while being surrounded by amazing people.

Question 1
Why did you pick the solution you did, and what, if anything, would you differently today?
