The interviews themselves were quite normal. Standard questions. Unfortunately, there seemed to be three different recruiters that were in charge so there was nobody to be a point person for the process, and nobody outlined what the process would look like.
My major criticism was that they asked for interviewees to compile a sample of previous work AND put together their own 3 month on-boarding plan. There was no opportunity to ask questions before the submission deadline, no opportunity to present the work, and no acknowledgment that the work was even received.
I was then ghosted for two weeks before getting a templated rejection email. Upon asking for feedback on the work, it was a standard "we went with a candidate with more relevant experience."
While I have no doubt the company made the decision that was best for them, if you're going to ask candidates (for a relatively junior role) to invest the time to create new work products then you need to at least respond to some basic questions over email. At minimum its disorganized but it bordered on disrespectful.
