Akamai is a great company, but their hiring process is clumsy. Many people have shared similar experience. I personally know one candidate who completed all rounds and was told by HR that by a certain date offer letter will be released and next morning, he was told that hiring has been closed ! This happened to him after being told of his selection and was asked to submit all documents for release of offer letter. In my case, after clearing 2 programming rounds, engineering director round and submitting the system design assignment, no communication from them at all. All efforts to reach them went in vain. After 2 months got a mail that i have not been selected !! But, the interview panel especially those who took technical rounds was very professional and friendly. Really deep and broad natured technical interviews. Genuinely, a positive experience for me.
