Super disorganized. People and role were cool. I just wished I got a no on the first interview. Recruiter reacted out to me two months ago and I wasn't really looking. Told me that Akamai was really quick to interview. (I got the feeling of two weeks max) Sure why not. Had the first interview week after. General interview questions with generic coding questions. I wasn't ready for the coding questions so I thought I did bad. (friend also interviewed that day with Akamai and they didn't do a coding questions because they didn't have a hackerrank link) 2 weeks later hear back to schedule "final" interviews for a week later. 4 interviews over 2 days. Finally got to learn what the role is for at the end of the interviews. Happy my guess was right. By now I have used 4 different web IDEs for the interview (Google doc one was the most memorable one lol). Very little Javascript question have been asked. 3 weeks later they want to have a "final" final interview. Asked project design questions. Asked some javascript questions. Asked if I knew typescript which I have told everyone I don't. So wasn't asked the typescript questions. Looking back I feel like typescript was a bigger requirement for the role that they didn't filter out sooner. Week later got a no. (thanks to the recruiter.. I was worried it was going to take longer or ghosted) I hope they sort of the job description for others. I really felt like they didn't know what they were looking for. I was surprised knowledge of build tools and grammars wasn't on it now knowing what the role is for.
