Was referred by an Akamai employee for a solutions architect position in Denver office. Round 1 - HR round Basic HR questions, basic technical questions on DNS and HTTP(S), customer facing experience details. Round 2 - Hiring Manager Discussion revolved around my previous work ex. Technical questions about DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, web page requests and responses etc. Round 3 - Onsite 5 interviews onsite. 1) with Hiring Manager - Technical 2) with Senior SA - Technical 3) with Principal SA - technical + lot of “what would you do if a customer said” type situational questions 4) with SA II - Technical + puzzles for checking how you think out of the box 5) Panel interview - Panel consisted of 6 members from hiring team all senior level employees. Had to a present whiteboard session a technical topic of your choice for 1 hour. Lot of questions on details of topic presented. The whole process took 35-40 days.
