First 30 minute interview with HR. The vibe was sort of 'I don't care, let's tick a box'. First interview was cancelled last minute (within ten minutes of the call) multiple times. While I received an apology with the first, the others I did not receive even acknowledgment. There wasn't any technical questions, which is somewhat weird because that makes me wonder how someone wouldn't make it into the next interview round regardless of experience. I was told my questions were better suited for the second, more technical interview including a case study. I never heard back. The salary I submitted was called 'weird'. When asking about budget for the role, I was told, 'We don't have salary bands yet or a budget. They'll pay for good people. They're a unicorn company, they won't argue over a couple grand.' I'm unsure if the company feel like they're above everyone else but it certainly felt that way. Just a complete lack of care or awareness. Best described as sloppy. Go elsewhere.
