I applied and was reached out to by a recruiter for a first screening call. The call was great - she reviewed the company and the position, answered my questions, and was very engaged with the conversation. We concluded the call with her saying that she will run my CV with the hiring manager and will be in touch with me, with either a positive or negative answer, by the end of the week. That was three weeks ago, and though I did a few follow-ups with her, I only now got an automatic rejection email.
