The interview went smoothly:
1) Someone sent me an email telling me that they're interested with my profile for the role I'm applying for.
2) The HR recruiter asked for a quick introduction of my work experience via email and a phone call interview happened afterwards.
3) A series of phone interviews from the team within the department I am applying for spanned over 3-4 weeks.
4) They flied me in to Bangkok with hotel accommodation and hotel transfers. However, just upon arriving to Bangkok, I was informed that the position has already been filled out by another candidate. Confused, I asked for clarity with the recruiter, and was offered another role, but for a senior position and that the scheduled in-person interviews will still happen as planned.
5) Part of the in-person interviews were a business case and an onsite examination.
6) One week after, I got notified that my overall application was not considered for an offer.
