It seems like a very good company, with a great respect for employees, good work-life balance (claims), good benefits etc. But their interview process is too demanding and unreasonable expectations of time from candidates. Not actually a difficult interview itself. Casual and conversational. Pro: Whole process took 5 weeks from first screening call to decision. Fairly quick. Good questions, good chances to get too know people and share my skills. Good communication when I was not offered the job. Highly respectful in this regard. Cons: Too many demands of candidates: interview time, assignment, NDA etc. 30-minute interview with internal recruiter. 30-minute interview with hiring manager. Assignment that took about 1-hour. 30-minute prep call with recruiter. 5x 30-minute interviews 1:1 with various members of the team the hiring manager again, and other stakeholders. 15-minutes follow up with hiring manager. I spent a total of 5 hours interviewing/preparing for this company. A smaller number of 1:1s or 2:1 would make the time demand much more reasonable. I understand the motivation, but it doesn't feel very kind to candidates. There was also a fairly large group still being interviewed at the 1:1 stage, so 4/5 people committed that time without an offer.
