A recruiter reached out to me after applying online for the role and we had an introductory phone call discussing my background and job/company fit, then there was an interview with the hiring manager, following this there are four rounds of behavioral interviews with other stakeholders.
The interview with the recruiter went very well and I was looking forward to my interview with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, the interview with the hiring manager was bizarre and did not go well. The interviewer interrupted/spoke over me while I was answering questions numerous times. When someone interrupts you over zoom it feels more blatant and I was interrupted at least 7 times throughout the interview. I felt like the interviewer was possibly intimidated by the level of experience I have achieved at my younger age and that they were attempting to "put me down" so to speak. I knew halfway through the interview I was not interested in the role because the interviewer would be my boss in the role.
This company has good benefits and the CEO goes on TV often discussing how financially health the company is and that they are still hiring. I think that they have jobs posted but I don't think that they are still hiring.
