      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Affirm en juin 2021

      Entretien

      I applied online and a recruiter called for a half hour screen. I then spoke with the hiring manager via phone. After that, I was invited to and attended a "virtual onsite interview." There was clearly a communication barrier between myself and the actual recruiter. For example, I was told by the hiring manager that I should be hearing from the recruiter, but didn't. I had to follow-up and the recruiter seemed confused and asked me if I had scheduled my interview with the hiring manager; I had already scheduled and interviewed with the hiring manager. She apologized. For the "virtual onsite interview," she advised that she would be calling me beforehand to go over what type of questions would be asked; she never called. I enjoyed meeting everyone, but I didn't expect the subjective line of questioning. All of the questions were "situational" as opposed to job-specific, so I feel I didn't get a chance to really showcase my skills and abilities. I didn't get a chance to demonstrate my knowledge in the legal and privacy space. In fact, two (2) of my interviewers were non-legal personnel. Also, one (1) of those individuals advised that he had only been with the company for about a year. That's simply bizarre to me. Finally, I had to follow-up with the hiring manager and recruiter regarding status after not hearing anything for two (2) weeks. I felt like they were "ghosting me," but the recruiter replied after I follow-up with her and notified me that they decided to move forward with other candidates.
