It had 4 rounds. 1. First one with recruiter which was mainly a quick review of situation, resume walk through. I told her that I'm actively looking and already talking to other companies. So, she immediately scheduled me for a phone interview with hiring manager. Normally, recruiter discusses the profile with hiring manager before scheduling the interview I suppose, but in this case, she decided to skip that to expedite the process. 2. Second one with hiring manager. It was mostly around fit, a few behavioral questions, and why affirm. Why affirm is something almost everyone I interviewed there asks. 3. This part is a take home analytical assignment with 24 hour turn around. Mostly around data analysis using python, jupyter notebook and a short presentation. The problem and data are related to fin tech, so it really gave me a good idea of what the type of problems the team solves on a day to day basis. 4. This one is the last round where they brought me onsite. It started at 11.30 am and ended at 4.45 pm. It was 7 interviews, each one lasting about 45 mins. I felt exhausted at the end of the day since I didnt sleep properly the night before. Everyone was prepared on what to ask and very professional and respectful to me. Most of the questions are case study type asking how I would approach different type of problems in fin tech world related to affirm. During one of the 1:1s, they asked me to present the findings of take home assignment.. Over it was good experience, I liked that they were very detail oriented and focused in type of questions they were asking.
