J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Aesop (Toronto, ON) en oct. 2023

      Entretien

Felt very used with the interview process. Applied online, got an email the next day to meet in person. The talk was not too formal, but definitely poked at some professional aspects. They said it went well, and I was to expect an interview with a higher person. Several days past, no one reached out. Instead, I got a "task" to go to another location and conduct a case study on their associates' behaviors and how to improve store performance. Technically, I was to be a mystery shopper with my own pocket money. I was given a few days for the task. I was very interested in the position, so I went above and beyond, conducted a full case study in presentation format. Was told it was impressive. A week past, got a rejection email saying due to "unforeseen circumstances" that they moved on with an internal promotion. That interviewer suggested that my profile be transferred to another location with an opening, I would be contacted by another manager soon after and told me to not communicate with them anymore. Waited for 2 months then got a generic rejection email, which was not even signed. I got "Best Regards, [Name] [Position] instead. I don't mind if my ability is not up to the position, but their hiring ethics seem to contradict what they advertise about company culture as seeing people as people and everyone is treated with respect. I'd rather be told that I could not go further than having to spend my money and energy for an opportunity they certainly wont be giving.
