i was headhunted by a recruitment agency who were desperate to find the right candidate. Clearly this position had been advertised for a while. I was given an address and told to research the company prior to my arrival. A week later i arrived for my interview and was pleasantly drawn in to the modern facility. After 30 minutes i was escorted by the receptionist across the shop floor past several spacious but empty offices and into a small side room. I was greeted by the ops manager and another member of quality. They read through my cv and asked me to elaborate on a few points, one of them asking an obvious question. Can you tell me the 8 disciplines? This is a question every Quality Engineer should know so this wasn’t particularly difficult.
