Entretien
First round was an on-campus case interview. Spent about 15 minutes on behavioral questions / introductions. 30 minutes on a case. Interviewer was very friendly and helpful. I didn't get an offer but the person who interviewed me called and gave me feedback on the interview and tips for casing. I thought it was pretty cool they gave individualized feedback. Never had that with an interview before.

There are basically three phases to the interview process.
1. 15 minute screening call. (This step is easy. Just TMAY and why the firm)
2. 2x 50-minute case interviews with Consultants.
3. Final interview with Partners/Executive Board.

Three rounds of interviews that began with one on-campus interview, one Skype interview, and one Superday in their office. The first interview was with an analyst, and involved 10 minutes of behavioral/fit questions, then the rest was case. I received a phone call the same day and was invited to a 2nd round, which is a Skype interview with another analyst. Both interviews went well and I was invited to their superday.
Throughout this process, I truly enjoyed my interactions with both analysts as they were very friendly and engaging. Most importantly, they offered to give me feedback, which is pretty rare among most consulting firms. The quick turnaround was great too.
The superday consisted of 2 case interviews with the senior members and 1 happy hour with the analysts and candidates. The people I have met from Transom are all pretty nice, but I was confused about what their standards are as I thought I did pretty well in the case interviews. I even heard a story from one of the analysts who said that she bombed her 1st interview but was given a 2nd chance afterwards. Not really sure what their standards are, I guess it could be a bit random? But overall, I do enjoy interacting with Transom.
